The village is home to a museum unique in France: “La Maison des Grenadières”. Opened in 2002, the museum pays tribute to the 150-year history of gold-thread embroidery, which first appeared in the Vêtre valley at the very end of the 19th century.
La Cristille
It's impossible to talk about Noirétable without mentioning Cristille. This liqueur, with its secret recipe, is made from some sixty plants. Produced since the end of the 19th century, it is the pride of all nétrablais and nétrablaises. Our Cristille’s ice cream is our signature dessert.
